Join the Emma Bridgewater team and hold a cake sale for Comic Relief Red Nose Day 2013.
A bake sale is always a great fundraising idea, as (almost) everybody loves a sweet home-baked treat now and then and, for a relatively small donation per head, it is possible for us all to collectively make a big difference to a good cause.
This year the Comic Relief team has promoted home baking as an ideal way to get involved, by holding our very own local bake sale – be it at school, at home or in the workplace. They’ve even produced a bake off kit, logo and tips to help you on your way – click the link here.
The team at well-known pottery retailer Emma Bridgewater have got “right in the spirit” and recently held a bake sale to raise funds at their London offices and don’t they look great sporting their especially designed Comic Relief aprons? The aprons are available at TK Maxx and Homesense stores.
And what better way to display your baked goodies than by using one of the beautiful range of Emma Bridgewater comports and glass cake stands…. my particular favorite is the “Black Toast” glass stand. Alternatively display in a vintage style cake tin…
So, don your aprons and get baking! Comic Relief Red Nose Day 2013 is on March 15th. Good Luck!
PS: the Emma Bridgewater team raised £300 with those cakes – well done girls!
